Tall Guy Reviews
Hi Everyone,
My name is Zach Lord. I played college football at The University of Arizona, played basketball at Dallas Baptist University, and am currently playing basketball at The University of Texas Permian Basin. This blog is going to be exploring the world of a college athlete, being 6’10” it has is pros and cons. Through this blog we will explore them through the world of being Abnormally tall.
To Start us off on our voyage, Lets bring to light the jokes that are most commonly asked to a tall person and answer these questions.
- How’s the weather up there?
The weather is great because I don’t have to look up peoples noses all day like someone… and if the coronavirus is spread like the flu, then I’m good because I’m above the germ zone… sorry not sorry. #lonesurvivor
2. Do you play basketball?
No, Im a professional table tennis player…
3. Is it hard to find clothes?
Yes, very hard because I’m not your average tall skinny guy. Playing O-Line in college definitely made this harder. being 6’10” and shopping is already a challenge but being that tall and weighing 295 lbs. is dang near an impossible task. Thus this the reason I am starting my own clothing company.
So this last week I went to the mall and tried to find clothes that fit me. That’s already hard enough online. So the first store I walked in was footlocker. I was casually waiting looking around until a sales associate asked me if he could help me with anything. Lol, man only if he knew… I replied with “what’s the biggest seize shoe you guys carry?” He jokingly replied with “what size do you need?” When I answered with a a size 18, his eyes and mouth said it all, he goes “ya boss, you ain’t gonna ever find shoes for your Shaq size feet”

This was a picture of me playing right side field goal block.
If you guys didn’t know… before going to ARIZONA I played basketball at Dallas Baptist University. When I transferred to U of A, I had never played football before. That was the first time ever playing the sport. I’m the next couple of post I will go over how I got recruited to play a sport I had never played by some of the nations top teams.
